SUMMARY
On December 3, 2017, a joint firefight between the Armed Forces of the Philippines (AFP) and alleged group of New People’s Army (NPA) transpired in the Municipality of Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat Province.
1. Status of Affected Families/ Persons
270 families or 1,350 persons in the Barangays of Monte Verde, Sto. Niño, Daluga and Sumilil were affected by the armed conflict (Table 1).
