SITUATIONAL OVERVIEW
A report from CAT San Carlos City, Negros Occidental was received last 16 April 2018 stating that a clash happened between the 79th Infantry Battalion of AFP and alleged members of Communist Party of the Philippines-New People's Army (CPP-NPA) in Brgys. Nataban and Mabato. The conflict transpired in the upper slopes of Brgy. Guadalupe, Brgy. Buluangan and Brgy. Quezon.
There is still an undetermined number of IDPs outside evacuation centers staying in the houses of their relatives. They will be visited by a team from the LGU to conduct "Pulong-Pulong” to account the exact number of affected households.

Cost of Assistance
₱19,900.00 worth of assistance was provided to the affected families, all of which came from the LGU (see Table 3).
