• PAGASA has forecasted that the storm will affect Luzon bringing maximum sustained winds of 210km/h near the centre and wind gustiness of up to 260km/h. Keep yourself posted on the latest updates here.

• The typhoon is currently Category 5 status but is expected to weaken to Category 3 or 4 as it enters Philippines Area of Responsibility .

• It is estimated that up to 1.8 million people are potentially exposed to the storm. • NDRRMC Operations Centre had disseminated Tropical Cyclone Advisory No 1. to all Office of Civil Defense Regional Offices through SMS, facsimile and uploaded on the NDRRMC website for further dissemination to their respective local DRRMCs form provincial down to the municipal level. The storm will be named “Rosita” as it enter PAR.
