- A mudslide triggered by heavy rainfall occurred on 30 January in the Puno region, resulting in casualties and damage.
- As of 3 February, according to media, two people died, at least one person has been injured, and an undefined number of missing people have been reported in Mucumayo village of the Ituata district, of the Carabaya Province of the northern Puno region.
- On 3-4 February, more rainfall is still forecast over southern and central Peru.
