- On 5 March, a large landslide triggered by heavy rainfall occurred in Herguaco village, Putinza department of the Yauyos province, Lima department in southern Peru, resulting in casualties and damage.
- According to media, as of 6 March, three people died, including one child, several houses have been destroyed, forcing residents to be sheltered, and several roads have been blocked. In addition, one bridge has been closed due to the overflow of the Cañete River, and several crops have been damaged.
