Highlights

  • PARAGUAY: About 3,000 families are affected in the department of Presidente Hayes. This department along with Alto Paraguay and Neembucú have been declared under a state of emergency.

  • PERU: Floods in the department of Cusco have affected about 500 people. Authorities are responding to the emergency.

  • El Salvador: Authorities have declared a yellow alert in 58 municipalities. Cases of dengue have increased by 43%, compared to 2013.
