Summary
This revised Emergency Appeal seeks a total of some CHF 1,087,723 (decreased from CHF 1,815,467) to enable the IFRC to support the Paraguayan Red Cross (PRY) to deliver assistance and support to some 15,000 people (3,000 families), with a focus on water, sanitation and hygiene promotion, psychosocial support, shelter and livelihoods. The revised plan reflects an decreased number of beneficiaries, a reduced timeframe, and a change in some activities based on needs and available funds. The Appeal has a current coverage of 15 percent thanks to the contributions from the American Red Cross, the Japanese Red Cross Society, the Red Cross of Monaco, the Spanish Government, the Taiwan Red Cross Organisation and the Canadian Red Cross Society (from Canadian Government).
