OCHA ROLAC, acting as the Secretariat of the Regional Group on Risks, Emergencies and Disasters for Latin America and the Caribbean (REDLAC), coordinated the fifth annual Hurricane Season Preparedness Event (HSPE2025) from 20 to 22 May 2025.
This virtual event brought together 568 participants from 30 countries and 136 organizations, marking a 52 percent increase from HSPE2024 and an 81 percent increase from HSPE2023.
