KEY HIGHLIGHTS
• WFP and the Punjab Social Protection Authority
signed an agreement to strengthen
climate-resilient, adaptive social protection by
building evidence for climate-responsive models,
enhancing rapid response systems, and
integrating disaster-risk financing into social
protection policies and programmes.
• Through the Benazir Nashonuma Programme,
WFP has supported over 4.4 million women and
children nationwide since 2020, including
391,000 reached in March.
• WFP Pakistan has published its 2025 Annual
Country Report.
