UNICEF continues to provide vital services to the 149,300 displaced families from the Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) who are residing in camps and host communities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KP) and FATA. This includes water, sanitation, hygiene, education, health and protection services.

A Mother and Child Week reached an estimated 100,000 beneficiaries in KP and an additional 1.3 million people in FATA with immunization, health and hygiene messages and de-worming medicine.

Four Transitional School Structure prototypes, with climate adapted designs approved by provincial governments, were installed in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan and quickly filled with girls and boys

During the reporting period, 221,680 flood affected children received school supplies through UNICEF’s interventions.
