Floods in 2022 affected 33 million people with 1,739 lives lost, and more than 2.2 million houses damaged or destroyed. Around 8 million people were displaced.

In the flood affected districts, 152,778 children with Severe Acute Malnutrition (84,832 girls and 67,946 boys) have been enrolled for treatment with UNICEF's support, with 17,999 new admissions during the reporting period.

UNICEF has reached 1,305,418 people with access to safe drinking water.

Through UNICEF-supported health facilities, 2,777,382 people benefitted from Primary Health Care services and 1,217,436 children were immunized for measles.

UNICEF supported 1,237 Temporary Learning Centers, with 198,245 children further supported to continue learning in a safe and protective environment through various interventions.
