SITUATION UPDATE (2200 Hours)
The relief activities in drought affected districts are in full swing. PDMA Sindh has so far provided 53,000 Family Ration Bags; 27000 to Tharparkar, 10,000 to Umerkot, 8,000 to Sanghar and 8,000 Family Ration Bags to district Khairpur.
PDMA Sindh has fully met the districts’ requirement of ration bags i.e. 53000.
Till to date, 253,580 families in Tharparkar, 11,261 families in Sanghar, 31,788 in Umerkot and 6000 families in Khairpur district have been provided 50kg wheat bags by concerned District Administration.
Till-to-date, 180,611 persons and children have been treated in various fixed and mobile hospitals of drought affected districts.
A total of 3,872,452 cattlehead have been treated/ vaccinated till to-date in drought affected districts.
A total of 149,777 bags of fodder/feed bags have been distributed in the drought affected districts.
PDMA PEOC at Head Office Karachi is functional round the clock
