PRCS completes registration of 4,500 IDPs

The Pakistan Red Crescent Society has completed the registration of 4,500 IDPs families. The Society has also treated over 10,000 men, women and children in its four mobile health clinics. The Society has also provided cooked food to over 23000 IDPs. The Society will also set up 15 ration points at different union councils and the distribution of non-food items will start in the coming week.

The common diseases among the patients treated are Gastroenteritis, RTI, Body Aches and Gastro-esophageal Reflux Diseases (GERD).

The four mobile health units at a cost of Rs 10.5 million has been established consisting of a Male Doctor, Female Doctor, three Paramedics, LHV, Driver, four Ambulances and Medicines.

It is pertinent to mention here that the PRCS is supporting over 60,000 IDPs with food, non-food items, health care and clean drinking water.
