Pakistan: SPAPEV distributes food packets among quake affected families

Islamabad, July 8 th, 2006: Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims distributed food packets, quilts and some other necessary daily use items among the quake affected families.

Expressing his views on the occasion, Regional Director, Abdullah Mosaed Al-Anqari said that Saudi Government and People feel Pakistanis as our brethren and the Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims (SPAPEV) team, on behalf of the Saudi Government, and People stand with you here in this hour of trial.

"We assure you that this Saudi Support will continue till the complete rehabilitation of the Earthquake affected people of Pakistan,' Abdullah Mosaed Al Anqari said.

It is pertinent to mention here that the Saudi Public Assistance for Pakistan Earthquake Victims (SPAPEV) had distributed a large quantity of relief goods of worth millions of riyals among the quake affected people of AJK and NWFP since the October 8 Earthquake.

It is also worth mentioning here that the Saudi Relief Organization are planning to reconstruct houses, schools, colleges, hospitals, shops and mosques in quake hit areas of AJK and NWFP.

In this regard, the consultation with ERRA is continue and after the final approval, the Saudi Relief Organization would start its projects in the quake-ravaged areas of Pakistan.
