The number of casualties is increasing following the monsoon season that has been affecting most of Pakistan since mid-June.

According to the National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA), as of 10 July, 86 people died, most of them in Punjab (52 people) and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (20 people), while 151 people have been injured. Moreover, almost 100 houses have been partially or fully damaged.

For the next three days, more heavy rainfall and strong winds are forecast over the northern and central parts of the country.
