Pakistan: Saudi relief committee distributes relief goods among 500 displaced families of Bajaur

Islamabad, Nov 16th, 2008: Saudi Relief Committee has dispatched a consignment of relief goods containing all essential items to mitigate the sufferings of internally displaced families of Bajaur.

The relief aid which was sent to Relief Camps of Sadbarkaly and Munda, of Dir district. It includes quilts (1000), blankets (1000), tents (500), fire burners (500), mattresses plastic (500), and food packets (500) of worth $ 160,000.

The representatives of Saudi Relief Committee have distributed the relief goods among the 500 displaced families of Bajaur, dwelling in temporary camps of Sadbarkaly and Munda areas, district Dir.

The organization has handed over this relief goods consignment to Mr. Ghulam Mohammad, The District Coordinating Officer (DCO) Dir for onward distribution among the internally displaced people of Bajaur.

This relief aid was dispatched to these two camps on the directive of prince Naif Bin Abdul Aziz Al-Saud, The Supervisor of Saudi Relief Committee.
