Activities implemented

• Distributed 450 kg each of bitter gourd, bottle gourd, brinjal, coriander, spinach, sponge gourd and pumpkin seed, 180 kg of chili seed, 900 kg of cluster bean and onion seed, 1.8 tonnes of okra, 90 kg of tomato seed and 90 tonnes of nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium fertilizer to 9 000 households; and trained them on good agricultural practices.

• Distributed 12.5 tonnes each of cluster bean seed and cotton seed, 15 tonnes of maize seed, 18.75 tonnes of rice seed, 250 tonnes of wheat seed, 250 tonnes of diammonium phosphate and 250 tonnes of urea fertilizer to 5 000 households.

• Rehabilitated 1 517 ha of agricultural lands, benefiting 3 750 households.

• Distributed 1 920 tonnes of animal feed and 12 000 mineral and urea blocks to 12 000 flood-affected households.

• Distributed 60 000 poultry and 60 tonnes of feed to 6 000 femaleheaded households and trained them on good poultry production practices.

• Distributed 300 sheep and 900 goats to 600 female-headed households.

• Constructed or rehabilitated 457 animal shelters for 457 households.

• Distributed 30 tonnes of berseem seed and 150 tonnes kg of urea fertilizer to 3 000 households.

• Vaccinated 629 000 livestock against foot-and-mouth disease, lumpy skin disease, hemorrhagic septicemia, enterotoxemia, peste des petits ruminants and deworming, benefiting 35 000 households.
