Pakistan: PRCS dispatches health, assessment teams to quake affected areas of Balochistan
Pakistan Red Crescent Society Response:
The Pakistan Red Crescent Society responding to the Balochistan earthquake dispatched health and assessment teams to the affected areas. The two health teams comprise doctors, paramedics and ambulances have been dispatched to Ziariat. A relief team comprising PRCS staff and some 25 volunteers has been dispatched from Quetta to help the victims.
The PRCS is dispatching relief items consisting of 200 families. The shelter kits, comprising tents, blankets, tarpaulin sheets and kitchen sets.
The PRCS National Headquarters is in touch with the PRCS Balochistan Branch to meet any need on emergency basis.
