1. General.
The rescue and relief work launched on 29 October continued with uniform pace. The concurrent, steady move up of relief goods enabled additional delivery of much needed stores specially blankets and tents to the ravaged areas during the night. As per the direction of President and Prime Minister, a focused approach is being relentlessly pursued to rise to the challenge.

(c) Damage assessment in process through aerial/ground reconnaissance parties.

(c) Air/Road Transportation of Relief Stores Completed/ In Hand.

c. Procurement of Essential Commodities ex Local Sources.
PDMA Balochistan was directed to make immediate arrangements for provision of relief to the affectees and also purchase the ration items for distribution. PDMA Balochistan provided following items to the affectees:-
(1) Tents - 700
(2) Blankets - 900
(3) Sugar Bags - 150 (50 Kgs each)
(4) Rice Bags - 150 (50 Kgs each)
(5) Tea Carton - 60 (15 Kgs each)
d. Death/Injured.
142 confirmed dead, 250 injured.
e. Damages Assessment.
(1) Approximately 2900-3000 peoples displaced
(2) 2000 x houses damaged
