The number of casualties is increasing due to the monsoon rainfalls that have been affecting several provinces of Pakistan, causing floods, flash floods, a number of severe weather-related incidents, mainly due to the strong wind, and triggering landslides.
Over the period from 26 June to 15 July, the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies (IFRC) reported 116 fatalities, 212 injured people, nearly 3,250 displaced people, and a total of approximately 5,000 affected people across the provinces of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Sindh, and Balochistan.
