During last week, rain was reported in most parts of country. The significant change was occurred in the Drought areas during last week with respect to the previous week as shown in the figure. Overall conditions are normal to wet in Pakistan. However, the situation in the coastal and adjacent areas of Sindh and Balochistan is looking humid than before.

From 2 and 3 October, Dry weather is likely to prevail over most parts of the country, while hot in southern parts. However, rain-thunderstorm is likely at isolated places in Gilgit Baltistan and adjoining areas.

On 7 and 8 October, Mainly dry weather is expected in most parts of the country. However, partly cloudy weather with chances of rain is expected at isolated places in Chitral, Dir, Kohistan, Swat and Gilgit-Baltistan.
