The Government of Pakistan welcomes international assistance.
This situation report is based on information received from Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan.

International Assistance

1. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Pakistan stated that in addition to rescue teams, the Government of Pakistan would also welcome relief assistance, namely tents, blankets, food and medicines.

2. This request was sent to all the diplomatic missions in Islamabad. Kindly coordinate with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs for further necessary action. For more information, the duty officer number in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Islamabad is 0092-51-9207691.

3. The UNDAC team has departed and is expected to arrive tomorrow morning in Islamabad.
