Latest Report on TRCS activities in the Field
TRC/PRCS response to Balochistan Earthquake:
Turkish Red Crescent, in the awake of the earthquake that struck Ziarat, Balochistan on October 29th, started the immediate relief operation with a view to alleviate human suffering of the victims of the quake.
Turkish Red Crescent is supporting PRCS to provide food items and hygiene kits to the Earthquake affected population of District Ziarat worth of 50,000 USD.
In this regard, in close cooperation with Pakistan Red Crescent Society, the Turkish Red Crescent has currently deployed six x delegate including the members of relief and psychosocial teams and 7 x national staff based at Islamabad and Muzaffarabad, Azad Kashmir to Ziarat and Quetta for carrying out disaster relief and rehabilitation operation in the Balochistan Earthquake affected areas.
Turkish Red Crescent in collaboration with Pakistan Red Crescent Society has distributed 1,000 x food packages in the following mentioned under areas of Ziarat.
