Pakistan: 50 bed orthopedic hospital starts functioning in Mansehra

ISLAMABAD, Dec 29 (APP): About 50 bed state of art Orthopedic Hospital has begun functioning in district Mansehra.
The hospital has been set up by an NGO for providing health facilities to the quake affectees, Radio Pakistan reported.

A hospital established by another non-governmental organization at tented village of Banda Sahib Khan of district Abbottabad has also started providing treatment to quake stricken people free of cost round the clock.

Incharge of the hospital said vaccination of children and awareness against the spread of diseases will also be carried out in the tented villages.

Besides, psychiatry department has also been established in which services of highly qualified doctors will be provided.

Five other health teams of Afghanistan at Dadar and Battagram are also providing health care to quake affected people.
