SUBJECT: -RIVERS SITUATION AND QUALITATIVE FLOOD FORECAST:
I: HYDROLOGICAL SITUATION:
All the Major Rivers are flowing in the state of their normal flows. Flash flooding is expected in the Hill Torrents of D.G Khan Division and local Nullah’s of North Balochistan during next 48-hours.
lI: METEOROLOGICAL FEATURES:
a. Yesterday's deep trough of westerly wave over Northeast Afghanistan and adjoining areas continues to persist.
b. Yesterday ’s Upper Air cyclonic circulation over Northwest Bay of Bengal today lies over West Benual (India).
c. Moderate to Strong monsoon currents from Bay of Bengal are penetrating to upper parts of the country up to 5000 feet.
d. Seasonal low lies over Balochistan and its trough is extending Northwards.
