NDMA Monsoon 2017 Daily Situation Report No. 037 (Period Covered: 1300 hrs 06 August 2017 – 1300 hrs 07 August 2017)

Rivers Flow Situation Reported by Flood Forecasting Division. All rivers are flowing at Normal levels except; River Indus at Taunsa at Medium Flood Level, River Indus at Kalabagh, Chashma & Guddu and River Kabul at Nowshera are at Low Flood Level. Medium to high flooding is expected in the Nullahs of River Ravi. Details at Annex A.

Past Meteorological Situation and Future Forecast by PMD. No significant rainfall reported in last 24 hours. PMD forecast for next 24 hours predicts scattered thunderstorm / rain with isolated heavy falls over Upper Catchments of Rivers Sutlej, Ravi & Chenab alongwith Gujranwala Division. Isolated thunderstorm / rain over Upper Catchments of Rivers Indus & Jhelum alongwith Malakand, Hazara, Rawalpindi, Lahore & DG Khan Divisions. Details at Annex B.
