  1. Rivers Flow Situation Reported by Flood Forecasting Division. All rivers are flowing at Normal Level except River Kabul at Nowshera and River Chenab at Marala which is at Low.
    Details at Annex A.

  2. Past Meteorological Situation and Future Forecast by PMD. No significant rainfall reported in last 24 hours. Forecast for next 24 hours predicts scattered / isolated wind-thunderstorms / rains in Upper Half of Pakistan. Details at Annex B.

  3. Dam Levels

  4. Significant Events Last 24 Hours.
    a. Flash Flooding reported in Sattar Sarobi, Tehsil Dossali, Sub-Division Razmak, North Waziristan Agency on 2 July 2017 at 1500 hours. Deaths of 4 x children have been reported out of which 3 x deceased have been recovered. Further 4 x children were rescued and shifted to AHQ Hospital Miranshah.
    b. All deceased have been recovered from flash flood incident at Tehsil Hub, District Lasbela on 29 June 2017.

  5. Road Situation (NHA and Respective Provinces)
    a. Musakhel – Kingri Road (N-70) where flash flood has washed away parts of roadway and Lori Tang Bridge in Kot Khan Mohammad area. Roadway is closed for all types of traffic. Currently work is in progress.
    b. All other roads across the Country are clear for all types of traffic.

  6. Railway Situation. All railway routes are clear for traffic.

  7. Preliminary Losses / Damages Reported
    a. 4 x Deaths and 4 x Injuries reported in FATA during last 24 hours.
    b. To date 43 x deaths, 61 x injured and 60 x houses damaged have been reported.
    c. Overall details of losses / damages during Monsoon Season 2017 are at Annex C.

  8. Relief Provided. Overall details of relief provided are at Annex D.

  9. Any Critical Activity to Report. Nothing to Report.

  10. NDMA Recommendation. Recent rains have highlighted some of the weaknesses / anomalies which if not addressed can aggravate flooding situation in urban centres as well as along the water courses:-
    a. Clearance of sewerage / drainage system in all major cities including Karachi, Rawalpindi, Lahore & Peshawar by all stakeholders.
    b. Shifting of people residing in / close to river plains / water courses.
    c. Raising awareness to public with regards to vacating dangerous buildings, remaining away from electric wires and avoid swimming during rain.
    d. Awareness about not venturing into nullahs / flash flooding routes.
