Message from Country Director

In the face of difficult humanitarian conditions, we can be proud of our accomplishments as we look back on 2021 - a year we responded to crises, providing lifesaving support, and easing the burden of so many who managed to survive in some of the most challenging conditions possible.

It is my privilege to present the Muslim Aid Pakistan (MAP) Annual report 2021 with immense delight and honour. The year 2021 brought enormous challenges that tested us on many fronts. Despite the many risks, such challenges reinforced our commitment to reach those hardest hits by disaster, and disease. We at MAP continuously supported the vulnerable communities throughout the year weather it was a COVID-19 response, emergencies or, consumable goods to protect the underprivileged families from the harsh winter weather in different parts of the country.

MAP is grateful to the Government Authorities across the country who extended their full support in our emergency and development programs in various geographical regions in the country as our aim is to deliver the services beyond boundaries to make resilient the communities to enhance their capacity for any future shocks. We also continue our support to the government, local communities, academia, local leaders through inclusive, sustainable solution to improve the systems along with our emergency responses to help support the government is committed to attain the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The organisation is extending services under the thematic sectors of “Humanitarian Response & Resilience Building,” “Strengthening Health System”, “Integrated Water Resource Management,” “Promoting Quality Education,” and “Strengthening Sustainable Livelihoods.” All these would not be possible without the trust given to us by partners, donors, and the communities we work with. I would like to extend my sincerest gratitude to everyone who continued to support our endeavours.
