More Pakistani quake victims leave after medical treatment

Another batch of Pakistani patients, who sustained various degrees of injuries during the devastating earthquake that hit their country late last year, left here early yesterday for Pakistan after receiving medical treatment in UAE hospitals.

The batch, comprising fourteen persons suffering from paralysis and various kinds of bone fracture, including one case of backbone fracture, received medical treatment from the Al Jazira Hospital here in Abu Dhabi.

The patients expressed profound gratitude to the UAE for the assistance and support given them during their difficult times. They also praised the UAE government and people for their noble stand in such humanitarian situations. (Emirates News Agency, WAM)
