Mir Jaffar Khan Jamali Foundation (MJKJ-F) is Non-profitable organization, founded in the year 1998 by a group of committed development workers and experts belonging to various spheres of life such as education, environment, water & sanitation, law, engineering and women activism. After expansion of its activities MJKJ-F was registered under Societies Registration Act 1860 in December 2000 as a non-profit organization. The geographical area for intervention with communities is entire province of Balochistan, with focus on rural areas. MJKJ-F has successfully completed number of projects i.e. community water Supply schemes, Child Health Project, Education Development Project, Embroidery and Skill development Project, Environmental conservation project and Solar and Alternate Energy Programme. In 2006-07 MJKJ Foundation with the collaboration of Child Health Foundation Columbia DC treated 800 sand fly affected childrens, women and man by organizing medical camps, mobile clinics and as a whole 5000 patients.

FREE MEDICAL CAMP FOR FLOOD AFFECTED AND HOST COMMUNITIES IN DERA MURAD JAMALI

Mir Jaffar Khan Jamali Foundation organized free medical camp for flood-hit and resident communities from its own resources to treat and facilitate affected families in the worse time. Focused on the health needs of flood affectees especially women and childrens. 5 Doctors from Government and private hospitals volunteered their services, and performed comprehensive check-ups on patients.

Venue: Och Power Choki, Tipul Dera Murad Jamali, Balochistan.

Timings: 8:00 to 17:00 every day

Dates: 21st August to 1st September 2010

Total Families in the camp: More than 5000 and 2000 resident communities.
