Operation Against Miscreants in Central Kurram
FDMA has been informed that operation against the miscreants has begun in Central Kurram Agency. Ini-tially, the focus of operation will be in 80 sq. km in Central Kurram, mainly in the following villages;
- Nekai Ziarat
- Manato
- Gawakee
- Mundan
- Koi Dad Khel
- Tendo Maghan
- Gardawa
- Satta Manadan
- Maghan Kandawo
As per initial assessment, it is expected that approx. 5,000 families will be displaced.
As per Government of Pakistan policy regarding IDPs, it is notified that FATA IDPs shall be retained inside FATA to avoid long distance and protracted displacement, and allow IDPs to visit their houses and assets during the period of displacement.
