NEW DURRANI CAMP—Lower Kurram, FATA

Return of IDPs from New Durrai Camp and Off-camp areas was carried out on August 25th and 26th, 2011. Total of 64 families have returned form Camp while another 153 have returned form Off-camp areas. All these fami-lies have returned to Gawaki Area of Central Kurram.

The return process will be continued immediately after Eid-ul-Fithr. It is expected that 1930 families will be facilitated in return to there respective areas.

Political Agent Kurram Agency and Director Operations FDMA visited New Durrni Camp on 25th August, and ex-pressed satisfaction about the facilities and arrangements made for the IDPs. Facilities in camp are as per UN Sphere Standards.
