Due to ongoing operation against miscreants in Central Kurram Agency, approx. 13,000+ families are expected to be displaced. FDMA with support of UNHCR has established an IDP camp named as ‘New Durani’ at Lower Kurram Agency. The camp is situated at distance of 06 km from Sadda, in close prox-imity of x-Afghan Refugees camp on Tindo Road. It is expected that approx. 4,000 families will ap-proach the camp, while remaining will reside with host families in the surrounding areas of Sadda City.

AT A GLANCE

  • The Inter-Agency Assessment Mission has re-turned from New Durrani Camp, and will share a comprehensive need assessment re-port with all partners to plan response.

  • UN and other Humanitarian Agencies (INGOs / NGOs) are actively planning to initiate large scale response at New Durrani Camp.

  • Some families of Koidad Khel area are ex-pected to approach Togh Sarai Camp in Hungu District. FDMA and PDMA have already re-quested UN Agencies for assistance in case these IDPs approach Toch Sarai Camp.
