Situation at New Durrani Camp—Lower Kurram Agency

IDPs families from Central Kurram Agency continue to arrive in the camp.
IDPs are accommodated in tents, and provided cooked food and medical assistance.

  • OPD is operational by the Agency Surgeon and patients IDPs are provided with immediate first aid and medicines.

  • The IDPs are provided cooked food with support of Town Committee Sadda, and Political Administration. The cooked food contains rice, vegetables, curry and bread.

  • Clean drinking water is provided through water tankers by Public Health Engineering Department, FATA.

  • Initially, UNHCR provided 200 tents and 200 NFIs. FDMA further arranged for 500 tents and 1,000 NFIs. These new tents/NFIs will be dispatched and reach the camp by Sunday afternoon.
