China Donates 50,000 US Dollars to Pak Cyclone-Hit Area

ISLAMABAD (June 1) XINHUA - China's National Red Cross Society Tuesday donated 50,000 U.S. dollars to Pakistan's Red Crescent Society as relief assistance to the cyclone-hit area in southern Sindh province.

Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Lu Shulin handed over the check here to Abdul Rafiq Burki, secretary general of Pakistan's Red Crescent Society (PRCS).

Burki expressed his sincere thanks on behalf of PRCS to the Chinese people, saying it reflects the profound friendship between the peoples of the two brotherly neighbors.
