In September 2025, Ipas and the Rahnuma Family Planning Association of Pakistan (R-FPAP) undertook a joint rapid needs assessment (RNA) to generate timely and evidence-based information on the humanitarian situation in flood-affected areas of the district Muzaffargarh (UC Latti, UC Muradabad and UC Taleeri) and Rajanpur (UC Kotla Khan Muhamad, UC Nurpur and UC Rakh Kot Mitthan) of Punjab, with a specific focus on identifying gaps in health-care service delivery, particularly reproductive health, family planning, and safe uterine evacuation services. The RNA aimed to understand the scale of damage, accessibility of health facilities, availability of trained providers and essential commodities, and the immediate needs of vulnerable populations, including women, adolescent girls and their intersecting vulnerabilities.
