HIGHLIGHTS
- More than two weeks into the long-awaited Gaza ceasefire, WFP has significantly expanded its operations, delivering full food rations and hot meals to over 525,000 vulnerable people. Bakeries have been restocked and reopened, nutrition supplements are provided, and cash assistance is distributed to help families meet urgent needs.
- The Logistics Cluster led by WFP, has scaled up its transport operations to accommodate the increased volume of humanitarian aid into Gaza since the start of the ceasefire. At the request of the Humanitarian Coordinator, priority is given to tents and shelter items.
- In the West Bank, WFP, in coordination with cash assistance partners, has reached approximately 1,170 households displaced from Jenin Refugee Camp, which has faced an ongoing escalation since the start of the Gaza ceasefire.
