Rabat, 19 Jan. 2009 (MAP) - Following the end of the Israeli aggression against the Gaza strip and the commitment of Israelis and Palestinians to respect the ceasefire, king Mohammed VI decided to dispatch a medical delegation to Gaza.
Made up of 30 specialists in intensive care, anaesthesia, general surgery and orthopedics, the team will leave Morocco in the few coming days to carry out its humanitarian mission, which is meant to alleviate the sufferings of the grief-stricken Palestinian brothers.
The operation is part of the solidarity and support that Morocco, under the supervision of King Mohammed VI, chairman of Al-Quds committee, continues to provide to the Palestinian cause.
