The week of October 19-24, 2008

The festival of Succos, which began on October 14, culminated in the holiday of Shmini Atzeret-Simhat Torah on October 21.

275 trucks unloaded 6968 tons of goods at Sufa, Karni and Kerem Shalom crossings, including 962 tons of cement, and the rest humanitarian aid such as food, medicines, agricultural equipment, and other essential supplies.

Erez crossing: 40 patients and escorts crossed into Israel for medical treatment.

Fuel (Nahal Oz crossing):
690,240 liters of diesel fuel for transportation
1,325,640 liters of heavy diesel fuel for the power station
678 tons of cooking and heating gas

The week of October 12-17:

On October 14, there was no transfer of goods or fuel due to the Jewish holiday of Succos (Tabernacles).

310 trucks carrying 7331 tons of humanitarian goods (including 96 tons of cement) transferred goods to the Gaza Strip via the Kerem Shalom and Karni crossings.

Nahal Oz fuel depot, weekly totals:
106,000 liters gasoline
83,000 liters diesel fuel for transportation
2,520,270 liters of heavy diesel fuel for the power station
635 tons of cooking and heating gas.

Erez crossing: 45 medical evacuations (patients and their escorts)

Sufa crossing was closed.
