Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation hosts Iftar banquet for refugee camp orphans

WAM NABLUS, 21st July, 2013 (WAM) -- The Khalifa bin Zayed Al Nahyan Foundation for Humanitarian Work has organised a mass Iftar banquet for orphans in the Jenin refugee camp in the West Bank as part of its Ramadan programme which is instigated in Palestine and more than 50 other countries around the world.

The beneficiaries expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa bin Zayed Foundation and the UAE for this generous humanitarian gesture which emphasises the care of the UAE leadership and the people, as well as institutions of Palestinian people, which have good connotations and leave a significant impact in the hearts of the orphans and their families.

Meanwhile, it has also been announced that the Khalifa Foundation has distributed 300 food parcels to poor and needy families in the Balata refugee camp near Nablus.

The families expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Khalifa Foundation, which communicate with them during the Holy Month of Ramadan and others, and provide them with food parcels.
