The Al Mezan Center for Human Rights condemns Israel’s continuous attacks on the Gaza Strip, which result in injuries and damage to houses and public and privately-owned property. Al Mezan reiterates its previous calls on the international community to promptly intervene to end Israeli violations of international human rights law and international humanitarian law (IHL), particularly the Fourth Geneva Convention. Al Mezan stresses the need to end the state of immunity granted to Israel by the international community with respect to gross violations of human rights and IHL in the occupied Palestinian territory.
