Overview of the PRCS Gaza Strip Branches 1\7\2024 - 10\7\2024

RAFAH GOVERNORATE

• PRCS branch and its facilities are not functional since mid May after the ground military opetation.
• EMS teams have been reallocated in two locations: one inside the ICRC field hospital and the second inside the UK field hospital.
• All PRCS medical points (Al Nasr, Al Attar, Park, Tel Al Sultan medical points) in Rafah were closed after the ground military operation in May.
• 2 PRCS IDPs camps are still in Al Mawasi Rafah (North West al Mawasi).
• Aid consignments are halted due to the closure of the Rafah crossing by the occupation.

Khan Younis Governorate

The PRCS has restored operations in most of the departments at Al Amal Hospital. The medical teams have started doing surgeries.

• Services provided in the governorate:
• EMS services center (reopened on 19\5\2024)
• 12 IDP camps.
• 3 Primary health care centers
• 2 Medical points
• 2 Field hospitals
• Relief assistance distribution disrupted due to Rafah closure

Central Governorate

Services provided in the governorate:

• EMS services
• Relief services disrupted due to Rafah closure
• PHC services are provided in Deir Al Balah clinic
• 30 displaced families are housed at the branch.
• 2 IDP camps
• 3 new IDPs camps are being set up.
• 5 Medical points
