General situation in PRCS branches in the Gaza Strip

North Gaza Governorate

During reporting period:
The occupation forces continued their siege of the northern Gaza Strip and its separation from the rest of the Gaza Strip, amidst random shelling and targeting of citizens’ homes, displaced persons’ shelters and schools. They also continued to prevent the delivery of medical, food and relief aid to affected people .

• The PRCS evacuated around 185 patients with their companions from Al Awdah, Kamal Edwan, & Indonesion hospitals to Al Shifa hospital in Gaza city.
• The PRCS facilities in the governorate were evacuated due to the increased danger to the crews and the increasing threats of the occupation to the region.
• The ambulance services operated at their minimum operational capacity, due to the scarcity of fuel supplies needed to operate the ambulances.
• The four medical clinics in the governorate stopped after the start of the ground military operation.
