The Gaza Strip, particularly Khan Younis area, faces critical challenges in Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH) and Protection Services. Prolonged conflict, limited resources, and infrastructural damage have exacerbated vulnerabilities, impeding access to clean water, sanitation facilities, and safe environments. This assessment report identifies and analyzes the specific WASH and Protection needs within the Khan Younis area, focusing on the gaps that compromise the well-being and security of residents, including women, children, people with disability (PWD), and other marginalized groups. The findings aim to inform targeted interventions to enhance resilience and improve living conditions in this region.
