• Since October 7, 2023, the Gaza Health Ministry reports over 37,718 + fatalities and 85,523 injuries, with thousands still missing and 1.7 million people displaced (75% of the total population) (UNOCHA: 26.06.24)

• The Israeli military operation in An Nuseirat Refugee Camp resulted in nearly 1,000 Palestinian casualties and the rescue of four Israeli hostages (OCHA, 10/06/2024)

• Al Aqsa Hospital in Deir al Balah is operating at nearly five times its capacity, relying on only one electricity generator (Ministry of Health in Gaza, 10/06/2024).

• Over 330,000 tons of solid waste in populated areas pose significant health risks to nearly 1.7 million internally displaced persons (IDPs) according to Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Cluster.

• Intensified Israeli bombardment and ground incursions across Gaza have caused more civilian casualties and displacement (OCHA, 10/06/2024).

• Health facilities are struggling with severe shortages of fuel, medicines, and medical supplies, resulting in overwhelmed hospitals (Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF)).

• 2.15 million people projected to face crisis of worse levels of food insecurity (IPC3 or above) (UNOCHA: 26.06.24)

• Restrictions on the entry of vital medical supplies, including mobile laboratories, haemodialysis machines, and infection prevention and control resources, continue to degrade the already limited health services (OCHA, Health Organization (WHO)).

• Lack of safe drinking water and poor sanitation conditions are fueling rising cases of acute jaundice syndrome and bloody watery diarrhea, posing significant public health challenges (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene Cluster).
