The European Union has always been the largest international donor to the Palestinian people. Moreover, the EU has been providing humanitarian assistance to Palestinians in need since 2000. Hamas’ horrific terrorist attacks against Israel and their aftermath have led to a disastrous humanitarian situation for the people of Gaza.The EU responded by tripling its emergency assistance to the Palestinian people, and supports numerous humanitarian partners on the ground.
