Highlights
• Despite multiple cancellations, the ETC successfully completed delivery of COGAT-approved ICT items on 31 December, providing essential components to strengthen the Security Communications Systems (SCS). While most equipment was cleared, key power-supply solutions were again denied entry. The shipment represents only part of the stock prepositioned in Jerusalem since August 2024.
• On 17 December, ETC coordinated with UNRWA and WFP teams to facilitate the installation of two VHF repeaters at the UNRWA Gaza Field Office and Saftawi Health Centre, aimed at improving radio coverage in Gaza City and northern Gaza.
• On 14 December, ETC and UNDSS delivered Basic Security Communications training to seven WFP staff in Deir Al Balah. In 2025, a total of 50 staff from five UN agencies completed the training, with additional sessions planned to expand operational readiness.
