Handicap International is delighted to present A brick out of the Wall: Disability beyond barriers in the occupied Palestinian territory.

This report is available in English and Arabic (hard copies and electronic version). Through six moving stories of men, women and children with disabilities, Handicap International intends to bear witness of the alarming situation of persons with disabilities in the occupied Palestinian territory. You will find attached the English version of this report.

A brick out of the Wall aims at calling attention to the difficulties, humiliations and violence they undergo in the Gaza Strip and the West Bank.

This initiative is inseparable from our projects conducted in the occupied Palestinian territory. It is meant to be an example of what Handicap International can do to increase public awareness about disability or an alarming humanitarian situation. It is in line with Handicap International’s position in terms of testimony, and it meets our willing of being a “testifying NGO”.
