**Insecurity Insight identified 2777 incidents of violence against or obstruction of access to health care in the occupied Palestinian territory between 07 October 2023 and 10 July 2025.**1 In Gaza, where 1957 incidents were recorded, health facilities were damaged 390 times, 686 health workers were killed and 355 arrested.2 In the West Bank and East Jerusalem, where 760 incidents were recorded, 12 health workers were killed, 100 injured and 161 arrested.

At least 491 incidents were reported in North Gaza governorate between 07 October 2023 and 30 June 2025. Attacks increased during May 2025, amid intensified Israeli military operations, a deepening humanitarian collapse, and the complete shutdown of health care services. On 14–15 May, the Israeli military issued evacuation orders for large areas of North Gaza, displacing an estimated 100,000 people. By 30 May, Al-Awda Hospital—the last functioning hospital in the governorate—was forcibly evacuated following an Israeli military order, leaving the region without any operational medical facilities. Other hospitals, including Kamal Adwan and the Indonesian Hospital, had already been severely damaged or rendered inoperable by sustained strikes, siege conditions, fuel shortages, and the denial of humanitarian access.
