Insecurity Insight has identified 1219 incidents of violence against or obstruction of access to health care in Israel and the occupied Palestinian territory between 07 October 2023 and 20 May 2024. At least 46 incidents were reported in Israel including 22 health workers killed in attacks carried out by Hamas militants. In the oPt where 1173 incidents were recorded, 906 took place in the Gaza Strip and 213 in the West Bank and East Jerusalem. 3 At least 200 health workers have been killed, 1 326 arrested and health facilities damaged 213 times.
